Stroke Art Fair 2026 – We are back!
We are so excited to be coming back to Stroke for the fifth time in a row.
Participating at Stroke always feels like coming home. We are already looking forward to connecting with fellow artists again, meeting lots of incredible new people, and having countless conversations. And yes, we will probably bring too many canvases again. 😉
Stroke 2026 – Details
This years Stroke Art Fair will happen from Friday, 01st of May 2026 until Sunday 03rd of May 2026 at Praterinsel 3-4, 80538 München.
Opening Times:
- Friday 1st of May 2026: 12:00 – 20:00
- Saturday 2nd of May 2026: 12:00 – 20:00
- Sunday 3rdof May 2026: 12:00 – 18:00

What we’re bringing to Stroke 2026
„True beauty cannot be created, it must be found.“ – Unknown
It is the contrasts and the similarities that inspire me. The silence of nature, the noise of the city. Colourful, almost shrill colours, but also the natural tones, which inspire with their simple beauty. A fleeting moment that triggers emotions and leaves a feeling of movement and aliveness.
Inspired by the contrasts of life, my artworks are energetic, multi-layered, somewhat surreal and hopefully emotionally and visually appealing.
Munich has always been more than a backdrop for us – it is our home. We grew up with this city, our friends and family, our inspirations… all rooted in this city. So this year, we wanted to bring something that feels like a love letter: Romancing Munich.
This new collection is my way of capturing our home town – but seen through the lens of how it feels, not just how it looks. The familiar silhouettes of the city drifted into something slightly dreamlike: colors that hum a little louder, contrasts that pull you in, perspectives that tilt just enough to make you pause.
It’s Munich, but with the volume turned up on emotion.
Romancing Munich is about honoring the city that shaped us, while letting our imagination wander just enough to reveal the stories hidden between its rooftops and riverbanks. It’s a tribute, a reinterpretation, and a celebration — all at once.

Chaos, Coffee and anticipation
The weeks leading up to Stroke are always crazy – canvases everywhere, frames leaning against every wall and a to‑do list that somehow grows faster than we can cross things off. It’s hectic, yes, but it’s also one of our favorite times of the year. There’s this buzzing mix of creativity and anticipation.
Every brushstroke feels a little more intentional, every late-night idea a little more electric, because we know that every piece will lead to conversations with you visiting us at the fair.
And honestly, that’s what we’re already looking forward to the most – the stories you bring. When someone suddenly sees their childhood street in a painting or it reminds someone of a moment they thought they’d forgotten. The way each piece sparks a memory, an emotion, a smile.
Those connections are the real magic of Stroke for us.
